Take your Sleep Cycle more Seriously!

In the process of achieving our goals, we tend to compromise on many important things like our health, family time, and social life but one thing which is constant in all cases is “sleepless nights”.

I have myself been guilty of compromising on required sleeping hours until realise its importance.

And here’s why you need to take your sleep cycle more seriously 👇
  1. Sleep deprivation can impact our cognitive function, including our ability to concentrate, make decisions, and solve problems that can affect our performance at work or school.

  2. Lack of sleep can lead to decreased productivity and decreased ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  3. Sleeping time is healing time. Our body produces cytokines during sleep which are the immune proteins that help fight off stress, infections, and any kind of inflammation.

  4. Lack of sleep leads to anxiety, depression, and irritability whereas quality sleep promotes emotional well-being as it helps regulate emotions and improve mood.

  5. Sleep plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy immune system. Not getting enough sleep or having an irregular sleep schedule can make you more susceptible to illnesses. My honest suggestion, your sleep time is the last thing you should ever compromise on!

  6. As I believe there’s no point in working so hard and achieving your goals at the expense of your health and sleep. Ever since, I started to take care of my sleep cycle, I feel more healthy, more alive, and more positive. The revival through sleep does wonders!
